WINGS WIN 7 STRAIGHT – Playoffs Back in Play?

LUCKY NUMBER 7 STRAIGHT WINS IN HOCKEYTOWN!

Tune in as we discuss the wild seven game win streak by Todd McLellan’s Detroit Red Wings (0:00), starting with their win over Connor Bedard’s Chicago Blackhawks (including performances by Patrick Kane, Alex DeBrincat, Albert Johansson’s 1st NHL goal, Erik Gustafsson, Lucas Raymond, Marco Kasper, & more) (3:35), followed by a commanding 6-2 win over the Seattle Kraken, including an insane 4 goal flurry to start, Dylan Larkin staying hot, more from Detroit’s best players, Moritz Seider’s reverse hit, J.T. Compher, Marco Kasper, & others contributing, & more (13:30), as well as a look ahead and whether this performance is really a new coach bump or if we can expect this from Steve Yzerman’s Red Wings moving forward (22:50).

After that, we analyze the emerging Albert Johansson and Erik Gustafsson, whether their improved play is here to stay under McLellan & Yawney, if Johansson should play with Simon Edvinsson all season, & how this affects Detroit’s outlook and whether they can make the playoffs (25:20), as well as updates on the Dylan Cozens trade rumors with the Buffalo Sabres & whether the Red Wings should be looking at other moves (Petterson? Miller?) (38:25).

Finally, NHL news including Zadorov’s hypocrisy, Boston Bruins drama, & plenty more (48:00) before we take your questions and comments in our Overtime segment (55:20) – enjoy!
